A deeper dive✲ On my story, background and life/
BEGINNINGS
My creative roots go back to childhood in Hanoi, where my grandfather worked in the printing industry. He’d bring home extra printed books and flyers, and I’d fill every blank space with drawings, comics, and storyboards. Surrounded by creative friends and a partner in UI/UX design, I naturally leaned into visual storytelling. Having grown up in Vietnam and spent my adult years in Canada, I developed a sharp eye for both Eastern and Western aesthetics — and the ability to move fluidly between them.
GROWTH
I’ve always been drawn to new tech — and when AI tools became accessible, it felt like I finally had the power to bring my visions to life. Whether it was building a full game in two days with no coding background or designing and launching this very website solo, I love figuring things out and making them real.Each work experience taught me something different: Medela sharpened my eCommerce execution, Ode taught me teamwork and influencer planning, BUHI pushed my ad and search skills, and projects like MindReviv and SDB let me explore vision and voice. One of the hardest things? Building confidence in what I make. But each time I follow through, I grow a little more.
TODAY
I’m currently diving deep into marketing, content creation, eCommerce, design, and all things AI. I spend a lot of time experimenting: testing my own content, studying the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing, and figuring out how to stay ahead. From trends to tools, I’m always exploring what’s next and how I can bring fresh ideas to the table.
OUTSIDE THE WORK
When I’m not creating, I’m still creating. I make art and music, I edit videos, and I design for fun. I stay active — working out, playing basketball, or just kicking around. I’ve always enjoyed relaxing, creative games like Minecraft. And when I need to zone in, it’s usually to the sound of jazz or bossa nova.
GOING FORWARD
I want to use what I’ve learned — and what I’ve struggled through — to help others. Whether that’s mentoring someone, sharing tools, or just making people feel something through my work. I’m excited to work with teams who value experimentation and creativity, and I hope to keep evolving as both an artist and a thinker. There’s so much I still want to build.
